What to put on a resource
Anything that is not a person and cannot be in two bookings at once: rooms, chairs that are unique, devices, vehicles, courts, kitchens, photo sets. If two services need the same thing, they must share the resource, not only “check with Maria”.
Staff still have their own columns. A therapist plus a machine is two constraints. Planoora checks both.
Events, classes and rentals
A workshop needs the room. A jet ski afternoon needs the ski. A stay might need a unit. Resources plus events plus range bookings are how mixed businesses stay honest without a second app for “equipment”.

How to start this week
List the three assets that caused a fight in the last month. Add them as resources. Attach the services that use them. Watch the first week: the calendar will show you the collisions you used to discover at the door.
Then stop promising those assets in WhatsApp. If it is not free on the resource column, it is not free.

Is a resource the same as a staff member?
No. Staff are people. Resources are rooms, equipment, vehicles and other shared assets. You can need both on one booking.
Can a resource have its own hours?
Treat availability like the rest of the Store: if the boat is in maintenance, it should not appear as an open column. Keep the calendar as the source of truth.
